Long Awaited MacBook Pro Update Expected in March

The long overdue MacBook Pro update is expected to release on March 1, 2011. Mac Rumors reports that Kenneth Lund, a Danish blogger heard from a larger Danish Apple retailer about this release. According to MacWorld reports last week, dwindling stocks of MacBook pros have been reported in US and Japan.

The delay is expected to have been caused by the Intel's new Sandy Bridge processor which now has apparently been resolved and may make its way into the MacBook Pro refresh. The last update released by Apple in the MacBook family was one year ago, in April 2010. Apple is also expected to bring the styling and ergonomic benefits of MacBook Air to the MacBook Pro.

With just under two months to go, we will soon find out if these rumors are true or just a hoax.
