There are rumors of a new MacBook Pro being introduced into the market on the 1st of March this year. These updated MacBook Pro's feature Intel's Sandy Bridge chipset. According to Apple Insider, the production for the forthcoming notebooks has already started.

At the moment there is not a lot of information about the new MacBook Pro, but speculation is rife. Some say that the new MacBook Pro will sport a thinner and lighter design and the larger version will include an AMD graphics chip, whereas the smaller version of the MacBook Pro will rely on the integrated graphics controller.

According to industry experts, Sandy Bridge integrated graphics delivers much better performance than its predecessors and outshines some discrete GPU's while consuming less power.
